A "Keepsake" Jewelry Box

I promised this a long time ago.  Like a month ago, long-time-ago.  Finally able to post about it.  I'm still not sure if I will list this in my Etsy store.  It has some quirks, that though can be worked out, I don't know if I feel like bothering with it.  I didn't take before pics.  I was in a rush to start.  I did get a pic of the drawers and a half-painted side though.

I replaced the floral glass door insert with a two-sided decoupaged panel of dictionary pages.  The front dictionary page is the letter "k".  Intentionally chosen for the word "keepsake".  You'll notice the word "keeper" there too.  A keeper of your keepsakes.  The inner side is a "J" page where you will find "jewelry" amongst the words. This ones self explanatory.

Yeah, that's about as clever as I get folks!

  1. That looks super cute! Cool idea to cover up the glass door, too.

    Have a great day!
