Rock-A-By Baby Rocker

This little rocker once belonged to my niece.  She's a big girl now and in her teens. I'm sad about that, they grow up so fast...but nevermind me.  It was later given to my daughter.  She never used it much.  It has sat in random places throughout my house.  In the garage.  In the dining room/daughter' play room.  It has even been in my bedroom at one time.

I didn't remember to take "during" photos but it simply went through a process of several coats of antique white and some heavy distressing!  I went over the whole thing with a dark walnut stain (which happens to be my favorite stain tint by-the-way).  I didn't seal it in hopes that it wears further and develops even more character in its future life.

Isn't this the cutest little rocker?  Roughed up and adorable!  It turned out pretty nice.

It came with me to a recent flea market but didn't sell.  That's all the better for you, right, since it's now available in my ETSY shop.  Swing by and snatch her up for that special little one in your life!
