I got this pink potty chair long before my daughter was born and it stayed in a until we were ready to consider potty training.
I later acquired one just like it, but in blue and green, with a lovely and very blue seat cushion. It was from a friend that never used it. Her kid went straight to the big-people's potty! Her kid happened to be a boy and I was looking for a bit more of a girly decor. I took it anyway. I hung on to it, along with the pink one.
they were blue and green flowers and the exact shade of blue and green as the blue and green potty!! I wasn't even looking for them, but when I saw them, all lights and sirens went off in Prissyville! And would you believe it...all of 79 cents!!! 3 quarters and 4 pennies! I didn't even have to break a dollar! BEAT THAT DOLLAR STORE!
When they want to be, the thrifting Gods are amazing!
Now, doesn't that blue seat not seem so...so...blue.
And while I patted myself on the back for being frugal and resourceful and making mine rather cute, I couldn't help but notice that there are some awfully fancy potties out there!
