Buy or Not-To-Buy? That Is The Question + First Fabulous Finds Friday

This is what I believe:  Buy it and worry about what to do with it later!  What?!?
Gotta believe in something, right?!?

This conclusion solidified itself years ago after the decision to not buy a fabulously cush and cozy sofa turned into a deep-rooted regretted decision that still remained an intrusive memory of mine all these years later.  Long story short...I let me hubby totally talk me out of it!  I returned to that furniture store everyday after work for a WEEK!  A-WHOLE-WEEK...just to look at it.  Every time I did, I still loved it.  That should have been my first clue to go with my gut and BUY IT!!

Since then though, I pretty much buy every fabulous finds that I encounter.  Panic attacks clearly take over when I don't or I do something absent-minded, like leave my wallet at home.  I've become an impulsive, anxious thrifter as a result.  I fill my basket with EVERYTHING first and sift through it later.  There's been entirely too many times that I've passed over something, only to backtrack a second later and it be already gone.  There's nothing like seeing somebody walk by with YOUR fabulous find in THEIR basket!!  I probably teeter on the verge of being a hoarder, but I'd rather deal with that than the stomach churning sensation of regret.  I'm simply a lover of thrifting!  Sometimes you do what you love, just because.

With all that said...
My plan is to dedicate Friday's to my love for junking and thrifting.  I thrift often enough that posting about my fabulous finds should be easy to do!  May even make it a linky someday!

So here goes, my FIRST Fabulous Find Friday!

These awesome ceramic lamps.  No chips or crackling either!  They are heavy and in perfect condition.  A whole $7 bucks each!  A little bit higher than I usually pay for lamps from here but still a good find for classic white lamps.

A pair of glass candle holders!  Haven't decided what to do with them yet.
3 Gallery Frames from here.  The "as is" was due to the scuffs on the frame.  No dings or dents and nothing that a quick spray paint won't fix!  All three for $12 bucks!

These are going in my daughter's bathroom.

Tons of other great finds that I didn't buy this time, like a fab slipper chair with great bones for $15 bucks! This is not one of those regrets though.  It was indeed going to be a DIY upholstery project that I simply don't have time for right now, so I was happy to leave it for someone that does.  I will cross paths with another lovely soon I'm sure.

Enjoy being prissy!
