I found these twin lamps while thrifting today. $2 bucks each! Because they were so cheap, I felt less apprehensive about testing out a new color on them.
I've never used this particular color before but really thought I was going to like it. From the cap, it looked like a warm, chocolaty-grey. Who doesn't like chocolaty?
With the first spray, I knew I'd made a mistake. OH-MY-GOODNESS, so not what I expected.
The color wasn't exactly grey or even pewter for that matter. It looked a bit like hot chocolate...maybe, but not quite? I'm not even sure. The color is that hard to describe.
I hope London doesn't look like this on even it's greyest of days.
Funny thing is, it matched the shade on the spraypaint's cap almost perfectly, so I'm a bit surprised that I don't seem to love it nearly as much as I thought I did in the store.

So, now what???
I'm going to sleep on it for a while before redoing the lamps. With the right shade, the lamps may grow on me.
Give me a little time to think this through. *another-big-sigh*

Oh, I like the shade. They look almost like pewter!
